Daddy Jim's adventures with the girls

From Daddy Jim:

We enjoyed the girls.  They are growing up so fast.  They wanted to see the creek, and we walked near it, and peeped into it.  One of them asked "What is it for?"  I tried to explain the rain coming down, the excess water running off (like on a lawn, then gathering into bigger streams, then creeks, and rivers, then into the ocean, where it evaporates (goes back into clouds), and causes it to rains again.  They seem interested.  They are so inquisitive.  They also got interested in a beetle crawling around on the deck railing, and gave it intense scrutiny.  When I said it was a "beetle", they disagreed, and said it was a "bug". I think I lost that discussion!

Jessie and Jamie Lyn enjoying a great after school play date with Ella Wood. She is one of Jessie's classmates from kindergarten and first grade. Her Mommy is Jessie's Daisy Scout leader. They are sweet Christians too and we are blessed to have made such a great connection for our girls. I continue to pray for Christian friendships for the girls.
